BOTH MAYBE CORRECT, BUT AT THIS TIME I’LL DIFFER TO THE ONLINE VERSION OF A ‘FIELD’ WHEN I’M REALLY TALKING ABOUT A SHELL WHICH HAS THE IMPLICATION OF A 3 DIMENSIONAL MODEL. IF ONE OR THE OTHER NEEDS CORRECTION, I’LL POINT IT OUT WHEN THE TIME COMES.
ADDING THE TERM DEGRESS OF FREEDOM TO FIELDS ALLOWS FOR THERMODYNAMICS. IF THE INTENT IS TO ADD ANOTHER DEFINITION THEN IT IS CORRECT.
