Watched CBC The National last night. One of the panelist on the discussion of ‘Q’ said it was par for the course and normal to be consistent at being inconsistent after the fact in cases of sexual assault.
If that’s the case, then after all these years of sexual assault victims doing the same thing over and over again leads me to one conclusion.
Piss poor sexual assault victim education of the public as the best case scenario knowing full well that timing is everything. And if I dare say, the worst case is encouraging victims to repeat the same patterns as this women did because it’s normally expected by society that that is what they should do.
In these cases, 2 wrongs don’t make it a right. I’ll go with ‘Q’ on this version. Inconsistent does not fly with me ! That’s the first thing the Police would have noted for themselves. Either they’re stupid or they’re paid to keep their mouths shut in this case. Which is it?
