After being taken aback from TV news story last night on CTV CJOH News, I was upset and once again taken aback by the crass politics of using children propped up on chairs listening to the handing out of child care benefits.

It smack of the wrong messages sent to children in any guise of having them agree to being shot side by side for political purposes. In fact, it reminds me of grooming without complete informed consent in this case, because the children in the news story were old enough to become puppets of situations they cannot possibly comprehend at their age levels.

It is one thing to have a news op with kids in classes doing their thing. Quite another to place children in chairs for political benefit of someone or something being promoted.

And if truth be told, pulling at parents heartstrings on the subject of money while using kids as the decoy is rift with the smell of corruption with no moral/ethical conscience. It would seem as though parents aren’t able to function and think on their own without the presence of kids in the picture. Paints a completely negative view of people’s capacity to think for themselves.

And never mind that I like Pierre Poilievre from an NRGY standpoint. My bias in favor of both him personally and the kids being used is the disjunction of all the wrong things to do in politics.

I have to on who’s behalf he was really doing the talking for. Smarten up !
