Well I guess this is gonna hit more than just a few raw nerves – every which way it fires :~)

What do you think my chances of being elected politician on the subject are ???

Without further ado… here’s a well conceived thought even if it’s not going to help my re-election chances !

You drive a vehicle, you must have insurance – get the point ?

You buy a house, you get insurance – got it ?

You run a business, you have liability insurance amongst others, smart !

So… even if a constitution allows the right to bear arms, nothing in it states that insurance for gun owners, weapons really shouldn’t be a requirement for ownership.

After all, guns, bombs, weapons of mass destruction don’t kill people – RIGHT ???

LEGISLATE THE REQUIREMENT TO HAVE PROOF OF INSURANCE PRIOR TO GUN OWNERSHIP !

YEP, YOU ARE RIGHT… CRIMINAL INTENT WILL NOT CARE A HOOT ABOUT INSURANCE.

BUT, IT’S GOT TO START SOMEWHERE RIGHT ???

AH… DEMOCRACY, SMELL THE ROSES – SPRING IS IN THE AIR.

OH BTW, LOOK NO FURTHER THAN LAW ENFORCEMENT HAVING INSURANCE TO COVER THEIR LIABILITY BEHINDS AS A PRIME EXAMPLE :~)
