Let me wade into the edge of this conversation lightly.

It surrounds, which this article has not broached the question of LIVING IN DIGNITY AND DYING IN DIGNITY.

I won’t get into a long worded topic on the subject of aging, suffice to say the following for the moment.

Prolonging LIFE nearing it’s currently accepted values of ‘mean age expectancy’ in the name of medical science is incorrect.

Yes everyone wants to live LIFE LONGER AND BETTER.

Yet, when it goes off rails into the realm of medical intervention and homes, what happens is not surprising at the very least.

Medication to abate pain, suffering, illness, discomfort all take their toll in one way or another.

Nearing terminal stages, in the hopes of still getting it with the genetic programming code, the brain will sacrifice itself to keep the body alive as long as it can.  Thereby, dementia ensues.  It is very different than Alzheimer’s, because that one is based on direct chemical interference with the brain.

Exercise to keep the body, TONED, FLEXIBLE, AND AS MOBILE AS POSSIBLE !  ‘WHY’ because the process that follows ‘WORK’ when done in moderation creates ‘HEAT’ which leads to ionization.  Even low undetectable levels to the conscious mind is better than none.  OVER WORK should be avoided to avoid rapid cellular decay and death.

WHAT MATTERS MOST IN OLD AGE – GREAT DIGESTIVE SYSTEM !  FROM THERE ALL ELSE FOLLOWS !  FOOD IS YOUR MEDICINE AND YOUR ULTIMATE SAVIOR of YOUTHFUL EXCESS !

NATURAL FOODS, LESS CHEMICALS, MORE COOKING TIME SPENT COOKING YOURSELVES IF POSSIBLE ARE THE MOST IMPORTANT ELEMENTS IN STAYING IN GOOD HEALTH LONGER.  THAT INCLUDES EXERCISE – BRISK WALK WILL DO.  RESTING AFTERWARDS IN A PEACEFUL MANNER IS THE TRICK TO WORK !  HEY, IF PRAYING IS YOUR TICKET, BY ALL MEANS !  MEDITATION, TAI CHI, YOGA, GENTLE CONTROLLED COMING DOWN EXERCISES, PHYSIOTHERAPY.   ALL DESIGNED WITH ONE THING IN MIND – CONTROLLING ‘HEAT’ AND PUTTING IT TO GOOD USE, NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND AND GETTING BURNT !

If you are at a stage in your life to make critical decisions, then I suggest that to reach your potential maximum, you find a way to avoid chemical dependence end stages, without going to the opposite extreme of premature death.  It’s a process no doubt.  Network and find willing professionals and put a LIVING WILL AND DYING WITH DIGNITY PLAN TOGETHER WITH A LAWYER OR 2.
