Marissa Stapley: The truth about mating for life | National Post.
Ahhhhhh, the truth of the matter comes to life.
Quite a dance isn’t it, monogamy? Marriage… till death does us part ! Well let me tell you, there has been no better PR spin campaigns around Cinderella than modern marketing of that Social Engineering outcome than advertising.
All revolves around the fairy tale to spin up the economy just right. And for those in denial, there’s the downside of it’s antagonist – divorce that rakes in so much money, I’m almost tempted to get into that business to make a killing – sorry the metaphor.
Life and death of relationships aside…. detachment from reality from real life for just a moment here, there are tons of factors to make that relationship work just about forever. The easy route everyone ends up going down is the COMMERCIAL MESSAGE YOU ARE EXPOSED TO ON A DAILY BASIS. Sight and sound being the primary mediums. Enter subconscious twinges of comfort zones bubbling up into consciousness and voila, left field ends up being the home run to that fork in the nightmare road of which so emotions end up being hostages of blinders on coupled with denial.
Where religion builds up that illusion of a mate for life to stratospheric heights of ionization, society demands that polarity to remain rock solid to hum it’s economies along. Enter the mainstream bombardment of COMMERCIAL SOCIAL MESSAGES and voila, pre-conceived ideas of cavemen dragging women to mate, couple(well there’s another word for it – not so good here I’ll omit), and off with the boys on their usual night time hunts in search of prey only confirms the confusion between then and now. Survival of the fittest rules the roost, even in the 21st century where normally enlightened minds by Google would suggest that our collective I.Q.’s would clue us into the fact that there must be something better than just survival that makes us all tick tock.
That the message is re-inforced by all means and measures… law, medicine, religion, society, communities, media, etc…. makes no difference when we buy into the message. That train wreck is just an old shipping container ready to blow a cork skyhigh with no regard to offspring when it’s winner take all. Sadly the stats bear this out. And even worst, no end in sight since that Circle of Life is repetitive. Where it really flips my switches, are the few lottery winners that manage to survival the lunar landscape and become the HAPPY FACE mascots of this could be you too. I’ll bet ya… that behind the scenes, all is not so rosy. Have it all relationships strike me as you doing your thing, me mine and in the TWAIN of time spent together, devil be damned, because we’re the perfect unsplitable(I know… not a word but sexy nonetheless) atom of all that matters.
Here’s where I’m getting a kick, thrill and confirmation that all is not so rosy these days. The economy since the last bust to betsy back in 2007/08 has been on a high of REAL ESTATE. Numbers hitting values that are unrealistic, imaginary and the perfect storm. All stakes being on keeping the illusion of the nuclear family together because of sustained economic power due to wealth generation by never ending upward prices.
All you have to do is look at the fallout of the American economy after that bust to the present to see that the reality of that economic bomb has blown to bits many illusions and as a result has impacted so called nuclear families into fragments of survival of the fittest. Back to the Stone age Circle of Life. Not pretty and one that no one wants to speak about, even though it’s admitted to on unspoken terms.
Once that waves hits Canada, expect no less.
My suggestion since my own experience bears this out – spread your economic wings more broadly out. Multiple economic financial stability through multiple relationships is where we are headed long term. That the Canadian Federal Government supports this is no less hypocritical than it’s documentation that it views marriage as ‘AN ECONOMIC PARTNERSHIPS’ no more, no less.
Now I entirely agree. More proof – LGBT relationships are on the rise and the commercial sector has long taken the view that they are an economic powerhouse not to be discounted for their own survival purposes.
Tell me I’m wrong and I’ll give you more examples of future waves coming down the pipeline.
I for one, have already mapped out the code of future success using the new model. The old one is barely hanging on to life by the skin of it’s teeth. When that flag of surrender blows in the wind, expect the landscape to be very different than today.
