Never have I come across this as I AM watching PBS documentary on the American Civil War. Not even from school days of long ago.
Never have I heard historical comments on the opinions, rumours, sayings, comings and going of England, possibly France and Spain on their positions throughout itt all.
Canada’s position has been somewhat nebulous, yet more ascertained by it’s birthday. Amazing how the United States has had so juch impressionable waves pressed upon so many nations around the globe.
American black people in my opinion should pay higher honour to Lincoln.
In retrospect viewing this documentary, I wonder WHAT or more precisely HOW the outcome would have changed IF NATIVE NORTH AMERICAN INDIANS had been given SAFE PASSAGE AND A TOURING OF EUROPE’S GREAT CITIES DURING THEIR TIMES ???
