My sense is that the exploitation of our natural resources, especially OIL is foreign generated. High demand, yet extremely low pride of our crude exports is unconscionable. That despite efforts to nationalize it back in the ’70’s.
This is where I fault Pierre Trudeau in listening to the wrong strategists. Justin, this is not your fault and not your fight. Father made a decision based on wrong set of data. Petro Canada has morphed into a hybrid monster having devoured retail free marketplace competition in the holy name of illusionary control of national security.
Wrong emphasis on the wrong commercial / retail / industrial intersecting complexes.
All other nations are getting TOP $$$ while we Canadians prostitute it with the handshake of hypocrisy on international markets.
