Bingo, on the Dot.  And the answer is……

Money, money, money, more money, lots of money ad nauseum.

Never really heard a peep nor OMG on the elimination of Sunday Rest and Shopping being the verb from the Catholic sector.  It was more of court challenges around a Jewish store in Toronto if memory serves correctly.  Fur store or something.

Of course, the Sunday Mania Shopping really in my opinion started with testing the Buddha waters on Merivale Rd. In Ottawa in what was then called Nepean.  Merivale Mall lead the charge along with the competition aling the stretch of commercial alley much to the dismay I’m convinced of conservative values back then.  Parkwood Hills was teeming with many a public servant back then.

Plot out on graphs and charts who and where objected to Sunday Shopping in the good old days !  Interesting exercise in 20 / 20 optics.

Compare it to school funding to give it some zing on the argument’s yea or nay.

Either way, it’s gonna change.  Question of time now.  Thank Conseil Scolaire Catholic de l’est d’Ontario et M. Jean Boulanger specifically.

Oooops, Laurier Carriere too :~)

Everything changes !
