…“If you can’t demonstrate or explain to another human that there is an offence there, then you’ve got nothing,” Commissioner Paulson said.”…

Fair enough. So the moral of the story is this –

Back in the good old days, aka before computers, paper and pens, people relied on the simple method of ‘MOUTH TO EAR’ in message transmission. Of course, you always had to be on good terms and within a circle of trust to be in on the ground floor of what was shakin, right. Otherwise, no deal.

So, I’ll take it on good faith that Mr. Wright suddenly having made an appearance from yonder Bin Laden caves after my departure from Calgary is on the level.

Seemingly, our competing interests are divergent at the moment.

Now, that said. Here’s the catch.

Paper trails and computer 1’s and 0’s have a purpose. While they do point fingers, noses and ultimately might leave you holding the wrong end of the stick where you’ll get whacked by it if caught, going to jail directly and no get out of jail free cards is a much better option than the alternative.

What alternative – say you??? Well that transmitted information – mouth to ear, with no paper trail leaves you in the precarious position of being a dangerous goods liability on the ‘BRAIN TRUST’ issue. Spill the beans and guts out at the slightest provocations by way of Social Engineering and you’ve been Bin Laden it asap.

Otherwise kiss that kester rear end of yours hasta la vista baby.

Personally, if I were anyone doing business in dirty pools where mud slinging and wrestling is a real possiblity if things go south, I would document – LEFT, RIGHT, CENTER, UP, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT, FRONT, BACK AND BETWEEN MY LEGS – JUST TO BE ON THE SAFE SIDE.

NOT GOOD ENOUGH ANYMORE TO SAY….
