There I would tend to agree, however I don’t have a full scope of the problems, just the optics and results.
Seems to me that way too many young natives run into trouble or away from it, only to run into more trouble off territorial lands.
From my point of view, this gives all aboriginal people less security and in the long run destabilizes their chances of claims of being independent and self sustaining.
Native policing probably needs a revamp, but those communities will have to decide what’s best and implement it to get to the root of young peoples troubles.
