Isn’t it amazing how the games get played. Almost better than Olympic ones actually.

Starts with Denial, then outcry, then miscarriages of justice, then individual assignment of blame, then recognition of political costs not addressing issues, then finally consultations and studies, then budget planning, finally if something does get done, it’s incremental in stages with longterm outlooks at the benefits and rewards of self accolades for a job well done in doing the right thing.

All of that of course goes out the window the minute all hell breaks loose and suddenly costs are not an issue – whatever it takes !

Of course by then, what were looking at are dead bodies, lawsuits, insurance companies and politicians on the hook !

IMAGINATIVE ISN’T IT ???

FIGURE THAT AFTER ABOUT AT LEAST 5,000 YEARS OF SOME SORT OF CIVILIZED SOCIETIES, WE WOULD HAVE GOTTEN THE MESSAGE A LONG TIME AGO ABOUT DOING THINGS THE RIGHT WAY!
