In my humble opinion, tracking technology in the business world is a valid tool. Bricks and mortar entities have far greater overhead costs to deal with. Besides, survival of the fittest gives the business a strategy in being efficient, responsive and adaptable to client needs. It’s a win-win in my opinion. You end up with trimming the fat and running on all cylinders giving out what customers want = value for the money.
Danger lies in using this tech stuff to intrude into personal lives at home and discriminating from there on that basis.
The onus is on the government and it’s agents to insure that the information it collects does NOT alter the fine balance of national security interests and RIGHTS & FREEDOMS under Constitutional charters.
