Editorial: Sex trade ruling only serves to further commodify women.

With due respect – you are right about handing out people, women more so, but men as commodities.

Only by free will and choice can a person truly give of themselves, not under stress, duress or forced bondage where the only choice is to sell themselves for someone else profit.

But where change occurs, rarely are decisions perfect. They are merely temporary guides on more moral ethical stable maps of greater social awareness about issues, problems that affects the whole because of injustices against individuals or groups.

In a perfect world, people move about without any fear of retribution for their actions, based on moral compasses.

In an imperfect world, laws must uphold rights and freedoms for the disadvantaged out of respect, dignity and security of persons to the benefit of the whole.

The balance of negatives and positives must be weighed and decided upon when it becomes apparent that a problem exists and little is discussed in public to gain the hearts and minds of those who have as much to lose if nothing is done by conscious consent taking into account laws of the land by which it was founded and agreed upon.

Starting the march towards a peaceful society is a difficult walk up a steep mountain under hard weather conditions without knowing where your footing stands step by step.

Planning is good insurance, but without someone to help in case of trouble leaves one at risk of imminent death. Good common sense to help others, not by just standing by and turning away, but also to lend that helping hand until the summit is reached.

It is on the TOP of the MOUNTAIN that one truly appreciates the view and knows what is important. That helping hand by those fortunate enough to have time and money in helping less fortunate or distracted compasses is the true fiber of abundance mentality that serves the whole.

One day, prostitution will become part of legends and myths. But today is not that day.

In the meantime talk and hash it out as a concerted musical effort. That will truly be remarkable more than the ruling.
