Noted and well argued. The question that lingers though with all due respect is what took so long to state on record your position ?

I would argue that the optics of waiting so long has worsened the argument, but notwithstanding the delay, I still believe that the embattled senators are due their say with due process even if at this point it makes things worst. Why, simply a democratic process – justice is blind until proven guilty in a position normally regarded as one for lifetime or retirement.

Now the ball is in the Senate and Senator’s court and dare I say, RCMP which seems to have lagged recently on their investigations. One way or another, uncertainty cannot continue to unfold around guilty or not in behaviour.
