Reward mechanism always compares expectations and real life experiences to the most significant pleasure experienced by an individual in the past BASED ON THE MEMORY CELL’S LOCATION.

Comparisons are made to physical pleasure, sense pleasure, mind/fantasy pleasure, unknown pleasure expectations based on past experiences and discovery of anticipation. Bang for the buck pleasure too needs to be factored into equations.

The ultimate test would be to test subjects based on religious beliefs of being rewarded with getting into Heaven or Paradise.

Wouldn’t that be a trip to come up with test parameters for that ???

Any smart people out willing to give it a shot ?

And no, faithfully going to Sunday masses or prayers don’t count here as tests.
