By all accounts to date, NAFTA was heralded as helping the auto industry.

Now it seems that this deal may have it’s share of changes that have not been discussed enough in the public arena of yay or nay in favor of it’s speed of implementation.

The good of the many without a thorough open duscussion of a fast tracked trade agreement is hardly cause for celebration when it impacts negatively the few who cannot make necessary changes fast enough.  A few downed men & women and children isn’t in everyone’s best interests for political expediency.

The E.U. trade agreement was never discussed at length. That’s the whole point. What we’ll be left with will be waves of discontent and more turmoil.

At least however unpopular the NAFTA deal was, the government of the day had the courage to out it up for discussion.

Change is necssary, there’s no doubt about it. But a Dodge Ram isn’t the way to do it.
