Tao is usually translated as the ‘WAY’.
‘Middle Way’ be a fairly good English translation.
However, here is the more accurate translation.
Tao is to be translated as follows.
The INTER-SEXION of the Dance of Life & NRGY
For the visually inclined, that’s the squiggly line in the YIN/YANG symbol. It is NOT STATIC, as in Life an ever changing dynamic fluid acted upon the fundamental forces of the Universe and subject to them either singularly but usually in combinations.
In other words…. it is the reference line in which EVERYHTING finds itself as a Dot maneouvring itself about between two equal and opposite forces fighting for supremacy in a constant neverending battle.
Of course that can never happen, but the participant is caught in the middle of a lifelong battle and unending ILLUSION of having to pick a side that will eventually win.
The idea of navigating a course and fine line either side without straying is almost absurd in itself. The battles and war seems so great, so fantastic, so surreal with so much to lose, that it is sheer folly not to choose a side.
The Bhagavad Gita creates a super-imposition on those seeking liberation by creating a moment of time & space that stops just long enough for the person to witness with their eyes the horror of war and enlightenment of self through choices.
