Whether it’s Yoga, Martial Arts or just simply Sports, the Ki thing to keep in focus at all times is simple.
Here’s the secret….
Whatever level you consider yourselves at, that’s the Baseline Reference you’re starting from.
From there that’s your lowest level and when you decide to go higher, use that as your next reference point in some precise way that makes sense only to you. It doesn’t matter what the external rules are, they’re all illusions BASED on someone else opinions and perceptions. The only S.O.A. (Source of Authority) is yourself. You, define, decide, dictate the outcome.
Alowfor flexibility, change, a few curve balls, failures – jot them down and use those to adjust what, where and how to proceed.
Rest is extremely important. It allows for many stresses to come back together into one big giant pool of water – ocean and sea to re-gather strength. A cooling off period. Using the female lunar cycles of 28 days, 3 weeks on, 1 week off is a good analogy. Why women as a prime example – because there’s a large degree of females interested in holistic self awareness – a great example of natural cycles than just taking Sundays off too, but that’s usually that’s mired in pomp and rituals of looking and being on your best behaviour. Rest is about letting go, getting in touch with your personal spirit and image of God. The external stuff is a distraction and throws you off course. Prayer time is good, how you look isn’t.
THREE THINGS ARE IMPORTANT FOR SELF IMPROVEMENT.
TRANSACTIONAL/TRANSFORMATIONAL CHOICES ARE QUALITIES OF FIRE THAT YOU ALONE CAN ONLY DECIDE
LIGHT SOURCE
PINNACLE OF HEAT GENERATION
WAVE DISTRIBUTION
FINALLY THE COOLING OFF PERIOD IS THE INITIAL BASELINE REFERENCE POINT AS THE RESTING POINT.
NATURAL CHANGE WILL TAKE CARE OF EVERYTHING ELSE – AT IT’S PROPER TIME. YOU MUST BE IN A RECEPTIVE STATE OF ACCEPTANCE.
RE-ADJUST BASELINE POINTS AS NECESSARY.
