One big Social Engineering concept gone wild.

Reminds me of historical events other countries similar systems of what’s great for the whole is bad for the individual.

Keep at it. I’m enjoying the law enforcement costs spiraling out of control.

Eventually something’s got give.

And Canada had better come up with better alternative to mandatory minimum sentences. I’m not in favor of across the board sentences that takes a judge’s discretion and common sense away from the context of what is presented to him/her in a court of law.

Human compassion from a judge for putting things right is much what God would use in deciding the fate of the world or that of an individual.
