The headless Parti Québécois government

While I’m not going to engage in this conversation – it being particularly Quebecois in nature, he is a question that I believe has never hit the National Conscience.

Simple really !

What entitles any form of governments – particularly Canadian to take time off during summer months and other times of the year???

While other than teachers, which I will grant probably have an exhausting day managing kids all school year long, politicians are on the job just like the rest of all Canadians and doing what they should be doing well – managing the public purse and improving the lot and quality of life for all Canadians.

So – I’ve like to see the specific law that requires or entitles politicians in governments of all forms to time off while the rest of us work and have as a base 2 weeks vacation per year if lucky.

If there is such a law, then it’s time to bring it up to date to the 21st century reality that we can do better than that in terms of being served with help instead of waiting till recess is over.
