In my personal opinion Mr. Stackhouse, I fully agree with the position you’ve taken in presenting information vital to the people of Toronto. As one of Canada’s most important city, but especially financially people across the country are owed professional clarity on the status of all politicians who render QUALITY OF LIFE changes that impact so many people and businesses in so many subtle and visible ways.

The original intent of journalism – and correct me if I am wrong has been to put public interest on the front page headlines so that people could participate in ‘HEATED’ debates on vital issues so that the voices of the many would have input into laws that you could wholeheartedly participate and be expected to follow in heart and thoughts, but especially spirits.

I encourage to tactifully but honestly put issues on pages of news media that allows people to talk, criticize and change the course of fate and destiny in common ways to the good of the whole. And YES WITHOUT A DOUBT in all discussions there will be disagreements. Allow time and space for the cool down periods where if something doesn’t suit everyone perfectly, in time change can alter the discussion once more when the subject comes up for renewal.

So if in my humble opinion the FORD’S had spoken out initially as requested and had had the courage to put things on the table, I believe that people across the City of Toronto and elsewhere would had dismissed the past history of the family as done with.

The general public are not given enough credit for their abilities to say ‘OKAY that’s in the past and just let’s all get on with the now – it doesn’t matter enough anymore.’

This is where journalism makes accountability matter. They make the difference in shaping events so that things make it on the table.

That’s a good thing everyone and everything.
