Winter jacket has gone poof – just like that gone… Bye bye from my locked assigned locker at the Drop In Center. Not the first time either. Another trivial door hook also missing.
Now I know that for most people in such a place, the only reason they feel like they’re losing their minds isn’t just about substance abuse.
It’s a concerted effort to drive them there.
Why – simply because while having made arrangements to stay elsewhere for the last couple of days, poof gone also a long sleeve shirt from a locker with my own lock.
