Did I hit a sour puss & note yesterday ????

Got kinda demoted from the usual 3rd floor dorm at the Drop In Center last night. No available beds so down back to the 2nd floor – literally on the floor with no blankets and A/C turned ON – not a good scenario for people folks.

Anyways had that scenario all planned out in advance. Just got into my grove with music and meditation. Actually just meditation from way back when was on the menu, but incorporated some classical positions from the playtime I spent while in Montreal.

Boy sure got a kick out of it. Actually brought back great memories and feelings. Almost forgot.

Gonna have to practice till perfected.

Really what happened is simple. Finished work early because of rain yesterday – got the roof done on time. Great roofing boss and crew. They know their stuff. Very happy with them – even with the slight bit of stress expressed – hey it’s a roof that can’t leak and done in a day.

Anyways spent my time at Starbucks all day and by 10pm decided to go eat instead of straight to bed at the Drop In. Went to eat at Korean restaurant and watched CBC News with Peter Mansbridge and CTV News with Lisa Laflamme.

Duffy stuff ain`t good news that`s for sure. Kinda sad about it, because I held Mike Duffy in high esteem before this thing hit the fan.

Senate has to change – PERIOD !

The security lapses around the Microsoft Windows O/S are huge. Big back doors and poof next thing you know if you`re not computer savvy is that you are screwed.

Thank GOD that I foresaw all of this stuff back in 1995/96 when Social Services in Ottawa came calling at my door in Manotick asking whether I wanted help with programs around being a Homeopath and I chose computer networking.

To be fair to Microsoft – these back door security lapses are either around a secret built-in chip, Windows 8 internet connection sharing, or through the 120 volt electrical plugged into the wall outlet.

Take your pick – either one or all depending on redundancy security protocols in place.

Either way – as I`ve mentioned before – nothing so important anymore on laptop. Learned my lesson from the big bad virus that I’ve never encountered back in June 2011 while living at 313-380 Murray Street. Virus made the primary master hard disk unreadable. Not even as a secondary drive on another computer. Could briefly see the data, but no access whatsoever. So for security purposes all hard disks where smashed to bits and pieces so as to not have them compromised by 3rd parties putting ‘JUNK’ and smut on the disks and blaming me for it. If someone thought I’ve be stupid enough just to throw out the hard disks down the chutes – ha… that jarred a few loose nuts and bolts.

So doing mega Windows updates now – since installing Skype yesterday while at Starbucks. Just in case to make sure that it’s not a Windows bug that keeps shutting down the laptop.

Stay tuned – got to go to work roofing and will update tonight if laptop starts. Otherwise from my smartphone.
