…”If a suspect refuses to testify at an investigation, he/she can be imprisoned for up to 12 months. Also, it would be a federal crime for a person to leave Canada to commit a terrorist act elsewhere, or to attend a terrorist training camp.”….
So my question is this ??? How is holding someone imprisoned for up to 12 months going to change anything if they don’t co-operate ???
Seems like torture would get you quicker results – non ???
