Apple’s dimming luster roils suppliers, investors

I wasn’t going to say anything for a good while yet just to see how things panned out.
But things change. And it so happens that with change, comes along change of positions.
So here it is Apple. Let’s see what you can really do with Steve. Price points notwithstanding over the course of time, brilliant and superb product lines have taken the world to places that no other company has done to date.
But if that were all, then Steve’s past performance and obituary would have been inscribe with something more than what is now on it.
Steve with all his faults, managed throughout it all to surpass even himself through his unquestionable dedication to something his heart, mind, body and spirit extolled in abundance and passion throughout his life.
For my part, I had and continue to have reservations on the price points. That was my going in position. Why, simply because the PC had the potential and rightly so to emulate and duplicate what the Apple product line could do at levels that the masses could embrace financially.
I don’t dispute the fact that any Apple product is priced according to value. That is loud and clear. It is a product above all else that merits the prices it charges. Where I have trouble going with it is this.
If Apple was all Steve in the past, did it not occur to it at some point in time that it would be dealing with the very issues it’s dealing with NOW with the passing of Steve. Was there no backup plan with endorsements from Steve on the directions it would take and remain a leader in it’s field and continue to dominate the TECH industry through it’s innovations.
So with that said, let us see how Apple manages to pull through given the fact that Steve maybe there in spirit, but someone else is at the wheel steering the ship.
That single element all in itself will determine the overall direction and success of Apple. Why, because Sun Microsystems and Solaris were leaders in their fields too once. Now, I’m strained to find anything left of it, other than the pieces that have been chopped up and cobbled up by the other TECH company. Brand that has disappeared – gone bye bye.
Steer the course Apple.
