Really Old Days – enslavement or death

Medieval Days – torture and put to work with just enough to keep you around for another day. The true real effect for much of this period of time was called the ‘BATTLEFIELD’. Countless wars and battles for dominance over land and territories in the name of power – another term for in ‘HEAT’.

Industrial Revolution – ‘HEAT’ turned everything and everyone ‘ON’ to work even though there was much waste for some remuneration and compensation.

Early turn of the century – 1900 – Henry Ford turned wasteful ‘HEAT’ into the concept of useful work through the creation of the automobile factory and production line.

End of the Second World War – One job for Life.

The ’60’s – Introduction of the Female Contraceptive changed everything. Men increasingly competing with women due to their repression over time. Drug culture was a mind liberating change agent that redefined the relationship between Business and Flower power. People were no longer satisfied with the status quo. Work was seen as a restriction of potential creative possibilities.

The ’70’s – Modern concept of the Franchise business and growth created employment for the masses especially young kids. Lots of choices available for work if motivated enough. Governments created lots of employment at many levels with cushy jobs and retirement options.

The ’80’s – Wall Street Financials – and mutual funds. Now the race was on to amass tons of money for retirement purposes. Business concepts were encouraged to help create entrepreneurs as the new job for life and job creation engine.

the ’90’s – Oops moment – state of flux due to no single factor, but certainly impacted by the excesses of the ’80’s. Global economies created a rethinking of Government priorities. Hi-Tech and IT Industries took off with the introduction of Windows ’95 and the NET.

2000 – 2013 – Hi-Tech Bubble blew up, SARS took to the world stage, 2008 Mortgage Meltdown, Facebook on the scene became a defining moment for Social Media that allowed people to connect with the masses regardless of distance.

Over time the changes have led to the empowerment of people to go from previous models of HIERARCHY called Vertical but mostly LOCAL Employment, to HORIZONTAL mostly GLOBAL EMPLOYMENT, to INDIVIDUAL DOTS of Tranformative POWER.
