I bought my Schlage Door Lock at HOME DEPOT last September. Since then I’ve deleted and changed the codes multiple times and in utmost secrecy. Yet someone sitll manages to enter my room as in this morning by using the digital code.

Your system needs to change somewhat like Medeco locks to restrict who get get overrides on codes and keys and leaves a paper trail.

That way, people become accountable and you are off the hook.
