Don Cayo: A worker shortage looms, yet young people can’t find jobs
Finally, thank you Don for pointing out the obvious and idiocy of what is going on and what we are being shoved down our throats.
The 2 don’t match and haven’t for a long time.
So what gives ??? I mean are governments idiots in charge with no perception of reality about the job markets, or are we importing immigrants faster than Canadians on Canadian soil can get jobs. Seems like it’s cheaper by the baker’s dozen to import temp workers or offshore contracts elsewhere in the Banking industry just like so many have been doing for years. This is not just a Banking problem – it’s wholesale in many other job markets.
Anyways, it’s dysfunctional to say the least. Who’s gonna take care of all the retired baby boomers languishing in retirement homes or hospitals and elsewhere when the real crunch comes.
Should I go on…. This is a rampant problem that needs tons of discussion for kid’s sake and their futures.
It needs more front page news, cause what we have now ain’t working ! That only leaves kids to get into trouble and crime when they despair with no hope of seeing a light at the end of a tunnel. Educational debts don’t help either.
