Inspiring isn’t it ! Okay like any company that reaches the TOP, it’s not all pretty sometimes.
Microsoft has changed the world no doubt about it. Top points for that. But along with that success it was part of being in the right place and the right time. The ’90’s heading to Y2K made for extremely heady days – right or wrong, here we are a good decade later after the Dot Tech Bomb went off.
Now in everything connected, my suggestion is that Microsoft revises it’s price points on Office.
Too damn expensive and risks becoming a dinosaur in an age where we can do well without it, thank you very much.
Haven’t had a chance of late to review it’s price points on Server software, licensing and such.
With Linux everywhere being free and just as easy and getting easier by the version upgrades, what’s the point of being Microsoft now ??? Before it becomes a Netscape and risks becoming irrelevant, better think fast. A lot of money and people’s lives are at stake here. Let’s come up with solutions to change the business model before it becomes what former giants have experienced. Self implosion by arrogance and the choice to ignore competitive market forces.
Hey, at least you’ve got the heads up and you’re still in great shape. Exercise that right to survive by choosing appropriate humane change while the going is good.
It’s not required to do, but it’s still good best practices to be responsible even in the business world. Morally and ethically.
Practically speaking, it’ll do your wallets a world of good.
Besides Governments everywhere will love you for still being able to collect it’s fair share of Everything Taxes. 🙂
