Let`s all attempt to come to a common definition of the term `TERROISM“ and by consequence `TERROIST` shall we.
For the past few decades these terms have morphed and shape-shifted to suit a nation`s capricious self-serving definition to jail, kill, assassinate by third party means, maul, injury and mis-treat prisoners in detention for the express purpose of making them paradigms and examples of what not to do.
Shall we now include people like Adam Lanza or Aaron Swartz in that category too ?
Where do we draw the line in the proverbial sand on any given day. Really in my opinion it really depends on which way the wind blows that decides the decision to prosecute or go after terrorists and their stated threats.
If nothing else, in my own humble opinion – ‘TERROISM’ is an exceptional expression of an outcome so different than a nation’s present course as to alter it irretrievably, significantly and fundamentally. In doing so, it would result in catastrophic violent change as to impact more than just a few people’s destinys and fates.
A perfect example and I would go so far without hesitation as to the use of nuclear weapons to effect change without merit. Whether by the term ‘TERROISM’ or the term we are at ‘WAR’ both come to mind as being equal in nature.
What we have to consider now is what demonstrates civil disobedience and protests and means of effecting change without stated goals and outcomes of ‘TERROISM’.
We cannot anymore term IDLE NO MORE as terrorists morally than say individuals such as but not limited to – Nelson Mandela, Aung San Suu Kyi or Mahatma Gandhi.
IDLE NO MORE is no al-Qaeda. These are people that have had their rights taken and stripped right under them like naive innocent children who knew not what their rights were hundreds of years ago. We’ve groomed them like pedophiles and corrupted their natural natures systematically over and over again. Unspoken rape, discrimination, torture and denial of Universal Human Rights.
And say what you say – Terroists ??? Go back to the drawing board and NET and let’s all redefine the terms here so that we are all speaking the same language with words that are identical and mean the same exact thing to all of us.
If worst comes to worst, I suggest that everyone who needs refresher courses on the Dance of Life & NRGY in the definition game head right for KRIPALU ( http://www.kripalu.org/ )in Massachusetts. They used to and maybe still have a program called ‘L.I.T.’ Life is Transformation back in the ’90’s.
You won’t need sleeping pills after this daily exercise – trust me. In the meantime, if Life is disagreeable to a minority of us white folks and immigrants, remember that First Nations have patiently waited all this time to have their moment in the Sun to change things around 180 degrees. That’s a few hundred years of peace we’ve all had. So pucker up, buckle down and take a number while waiting in that inconvenient line of peaceful demonstrations.
I’m sure that some elements are just as unhappy as you are about the pace of things and would be willing to make our Dance of Life more miserable. Give them points for being smarter than that.
So my suggestion is to get a Life and Dance around the Fire to lighten up your impatient spirit in the meantime.
BTW – I’m giving the authorities and Police Officers high credit for holding back and keeping the peace. OPP deserves the credit for stating it publicly, that’s a refreshing sign of change when higher Masters order laws to be followed, only to use Police Officers as Dogs and Pigs to carry out flawed laws. We’re not dealing with ‘Terroists’ here, get that straight if nothing else.
