Couldn’t have said it better myself. The British learnt many lessons on the cost of colonialism and relented with a CommonWealth Pact Agreement between nations.
It’s time Aboriginal people were given due respect and the tools to take direct ownership and responsibility for their own Destiny.
Othewise it’ll come back to haunt every White man and immigrant in North America.
Mark my words, if this isn’t settled once and for all the right and proper way, one day all aboriginals will say they own North America and put White people on boats and remote reserves. I don’t blame them they would be totally within their International Human Rights to do so.
Wake up and smell the roses and take off those damn rose colored glasses. Time for change and dealing with it fairly, honestly and in a win-win situation. This is no longer a matter of handing them guns and hoping they’ll all kill themselves silly with them. That’s a costly mistake to make – this ain’t the dark ages.
