Pandora’s box obviously – the cats out of the bag or box if you will.

The only way out of this potential time bomb is to get parents actively involved and have public discussions on the subject. Don’t just paint pretty pictures or nice slogans. Get serious on the issue if this is truly a matter of protecting kids. Otherwise you run the risk of pandering to your own resource needs and risk lawsuits for not doing enough.

Getting the Police to do all the dirty and hard work will only reach the tip of the iceberg. For better or worst – the net is here to stay and over time more ingenious and easier ways to exploit vulnerable people will increase.

Police are already thinly scattered all over the place with resources. Unless the state imposes martial law to deal with the problem – get people involved. Even children need to be in at this level. When young kids at alarmingly younger ages are already doing things that grown up and mature consensual adults used to do, it’s time to change the paradigm.
