At least that was what I was told yesterday. Got WHMIS certification in January. Got some work requiring that certification as a condition of employment due to safety regulations.

Without it, I would not have been able to work the last few days to get food and a monthly transit pass on the table sort of speak.

Anyways for the effort – $0.00 increase in pay scale.

$10 per hour before – $10 per hour with WHMIS certification.

I’m told the certification only brings me more opportunity ! Yikes, I figure with less hassle I can go work at MacDonalds for $10 per hour and not have to climb up 20 stories when elevators go off the rails.

And the friend with benefits is no hard hat, safety goggles and vest required in HEAT conditions while working. I can flip french fries all day long in AIR CONDITIONED store. Beats the HEAT – right !

Them the ducks I guess… didn’t go to work while having to deal with non-payment issue from Alberta Works. Typing this as I’m on hold.

This is really really so much fun. BTW when the shit hits the fan soon enough, the wave is INTERNATIONAL. Not just in this neck of the woods. Hit the deck is all I’m saying. 🙂
