If only…. however that didn’t happen and I’m glad. Instead made the wise conscious decision to go to work for Canadian Blood Services with Ward Associates as a Y2K Consultant.

The rest is history I met my ex-wife and got the best kids a Dad could ask for. No regrets… well except the ex-wife. But it was a package deal.

And the answer is….. drums rolling….. I turned down a posh job offer with CIDC downtown Ottawa. God that was a dream job to die for. Only thing, starting salary was too low and I took up the other one cause I wanted to see where that went. Now we know don’t we.

Just imagine for a minute – don’t you feel more fuzzy and warm inside knowing that your $100 K or whatever it is these days being saved from imminent losses and collapse of the banking system if I had still been in charge of all the computer servers and infrastructure there. I mean come on people, you’re talking to GOD here or is that little devil ??? Well, thank GOD I don’t have that stress to deal with. Whewwww ! Woof ! Arf ! Bark Bark ! Tail wagging ! Shivers up my spine !

Boy have I got more stories than a Rabbit’s hat on that one ! Oh well I’ll save it for another rainy days, seems like there are lots of those laying in wait… oops, I guess HEAT will take care of that… 🙂

Oh well, I can always land the $9/hr job at MacDonalds like Alberta Works just suggested. Hmmmm, math not right here ??? $12/hr and no work in Kemptville and $9/hr and flipping fries ! Hard choice, damn hard choice !
