Opinion: Canada should empower girls to be agents of change
From the day men and women have stepped foot on Earth until this day, all LAWS have been written by men and men alone.
When today’s Queens and all women President’s and Premiere’s govern, it it always within the context of the Good Old Boy’s Club.
Thousands of years of laws cannot be just wiped away just because someone is of the female gender even though it’s creation of side by side equality is a representation of where she should stand.
If women are to make any kind of headway in those clubs, then all laws must reflect the mirror of it’s creation.
From there, equality will turn the tide around the way girls and women are treated and the way they were meant to be treated – with respect.
It’ll be educational and a huge challenge at best to turn both sexes MindSets & MindMAPS around 180 degrees so children can have better futures and models to follow.
As it stands, when children are left to follow the same patterns, we as adults are no better than the bullies. We assist by standing as silent witness to unspeakable acts and the best we can do is pay lip service to the horrors of never again speeches just to look good on front-page HEADLINES.
It’s not enough to break through those glass ceilings only to be stuck in a bottle and told to sail within it’s confines like a Genie in a bottle for thousand’s of years.
