Who doesn’t have their heads in the Sandbox on this new technology. When this eventually becomes reality, kiss auto manufacturing jobs hasta la vista – baby.

If I were any government, I’ve be shitting bricks NOW instead of when it hits the fan.

Between virtual software, virtual machines, virtual clouds, virtual plants, virtual robots will be building automotive parts from someone’s kitchen table or while driving in let’s say for argument’s sake, Ecuador or Mongolia or the Amazon.

Better start thinking ahead on retraining programs and worker safety nets. Cause with the NET Everywhere, your next Android phone will be a hot ticket item carrying CAD programs to build bumpers and then whoosh, print them out in Alaska.

If I were employed in the automotive sector, I’ve be running to a retraining center NOW, instead of being the last laid off workers like Nortel Networks.

Same goes for anything else – Ship building where use of plastics is in use, Airplane manufacturing too

Come to think of it, hell…. they’ll be building virtual plastic pipes remotely. Bye bye welders – toast.

What the heck tunnel boring machines too. Bridges ??? God the list is endless. Sounds like my Orgasms. Yikes these are scary and exciting all at the same time.

List is endless.

I can just see it now. Want a CD or DVD. No problem – click the pay button and print out the disc with the Data on it. Good bye Snail Mail for good. I guess the price of mailing will go up to $10 a plastic 3D stamp for Canada Post HQ in Ottawa. No more need for official post office business.

Bye bye DollarRama, plastics in the palm of your hand – errr, printer.

Best of Luck !
