Cancer care delays retrial for Calgary woman charged with strangling daughter
As all war criminals that must be brought to justice to account for their actions, regardless of health status and condition, I fully support similar justice of parents and/or trusted caregivers who murder their or other children.
While the compassionate argument would be to leave one die with whatever little dignity they have and a guilty conscience, no one is truly speaking on behalf of the dead child or children. Not even an advocate who could passionately argue on their behalf.
The accounting before a court, squarely places one accused before all and the eyes of his/her creator to account for their actions for perpetuity until Karma is dealt with in some future manner.
While I don’t advocate death, which I would gladly pass as sentence on the child’s or children’s behalf without hesitation, Conscious Choice now becomes my own enemy against my own Will.
That said, I would expect all those who have taken young innocent lives from Life to be held accountable regardless of their physical/mental/emotional health and to have the Fire of Guilt branded upon their spirits to carry beyond Life. That in my strong opinion would certainly make any future situations more clear for sentencing.
If one cannot say and plead ignorance of the law in such matters, then they without even so much as having stepped one foot into a courtroom are already guilty by their stated intentions from the onset.
