New process to limit corruption leading to contract backlog
This is an entirely normal process. It’s equivalent is like going to a hospital(excuse the pun) for major sugery after an accident and learning to walk all over again.
If it takes time to learn how to make those old nerves make a new connection, then so be it.
In the end once the old lessons are learned and a new way of doing things with Integrity for the general public good arises, then leading by example in good adminstrative governance will be a stepping stone for all others who are faced with the same situation.
What the City of Montreal needs to do is be transparent with the public and ask them for their patience through the geniune process of rebuilding integrity and trust. It’ll be a win win for everyone if the PR message is truthful.
Otherwise expect more from me.
