And here I was all these years worried about the City of Ottawa spilling it’s sewers and waste treatment facilities directly into the Ottawa River.
All the while being fined by the Province of Ontario and only to turn around slapping higher operating costs back to the taxpayer.
Should have billed politicians and the people who were responsible for the safe operations of those facilities directly.
When it comes directly out of your pocket, do you think there’s more keen interest in responsible stewardship of resources.
Especially with the no-ending City of Ottawa water department continuously jacking up water rates and bills citing resource scarcity and responsible water management !
NOT INCOME TAX DEDUCTIBLE on guilty individuals. Think that would have solved the problem in a flash ?
