It’s time to get serious about Alberta’s deficit
With these kind of numbers in the red so quickly, does it not make sense to construct a full fledge state of the art pollution free refinery in Alberta and fetch top dollar for it’s carbon less emissions and carbon credits.
At least you could pump back the surpluses from top dollar sales back into the budget and avoid all these so called painful decisions taken unawares of the speed of change.
Am I the only Macro Economist with a degree who sees logic in this.
Time to stop playing second fiddle if you’re in the Oil & Gas business.
Smarten up ! 3 to 4 Billion in one year ouch ! Okay it hurts – BDSM lesson learnt. But to be masochist and do it over and over again until Alberta’s sold off piece by piece and run dry into the ground with no resources left, I don’t know about you but I think I can do much better without so much as a Ph. D degree and eMBA.
This is not some poker game you bet the farm on. Real people with real lives working real hard and paying real tax dollars.
Do I have to say it again – SMARTEN UP ! Otherwise you’ll have no choice but to let China buy you and tell you to build railroads !
