Update – The Nature of Things – Changing your Mind

Part 1 – OCD – Obsessive Compulsive Disorders

Re-in-forced environmental conditioning becomes an infinite endless loop between physical and mental components. Both sustain each other and where one is weak and less able to resist the other makes up by being strong, dominant and controlling. The mind wins because we put so much emphasis on it being more important than the body. We ask of ourselves to value the mind and mental intellect more and in response put all our NRGY and efforts into accommodating that social and evolutionary expectation.

Praying is another way of consciously asking for change. You are emphasizing the same thing over and over again until your mind is re-wired around the desire for change to come true. There is the additional belief system component of asking with all your heart, your mind and your body. It is more comprehensive and inclusive and holistic in nature. What is happening here is your are creating a synergy between all different parts of the whole human body and not only one part to come up with a total solution.

While the mind is the ultimate in terms of retooling for the function at hand, unless you intuitively understand how to do it, the task is almost incomprehensible and herculean in nature. Simply put – if it happens, then it’s called a miracle, even if you were the author of change.

Right conclusion – change the habit, change the environment, results in changing the mind/body/spirit. Just don’t expect instant results, but this is the best gentle way. Yes, there are fallbacks. That’s natural NRGY – YIN/YANG like a swing and pendulum eventually it stops near dead center and finds it’s natural equilibrum. That is the most important point of change in direction. The spiral is open to suggestion on new ways to do things. Complete reprogramming if necessary.

True Awareness and the Impartial Spectator. It becomes the projection of your Spirit and your guide. Native American and many other indigenous tribes often use it as a Ki factor in healing.

The technique used in Oriental cultures is to climb mountains to reach temples at the top. Everything at the same time(body/mind/spirit0 is used to change an OCD into a spiritual experience once you get your audience with a Master. The higher the mountain the more serious the OCD is in nature.

Here’s a simple exercise and test on a different scale – next time a patient with OCD asks for help, if feasible ask them to walk to your location or climb the stairs of the office tower instead of using the elevator. You get the message. Change the habitual paradigms.

2. PTSD – Post Traumatic Stress Disorder

Good techniques. Vocalizing the mental aspects and writing it down. Then reading it or even having it read to him. What became intriguing is the fact that the written event was done in the past and read sometime in the future. A disconnection in time that helps the person to distance and separate themselves from the disorder. It becomes something like story telling instead of actually locking it in the mind and reliving it over and over again.

Question then becomes of veterans in wars. There the trauma is really intense. My guess is actually acting out the scene somehow and then finding some way to distance them from it. Don’t have enough data to make an educated guess here.

The Ki words here are the senses used for processing information into the brain. Overwhelming information and no place to put it in context to our normal experiences and expectations. No neat slots to put labels on what is happening into filed memory.

For instance – someone finds someone hanging from the neck. An arm or leg blown off in an explosion. A car accident beheading. The sound of an airplane slamming into buildings. 911 events.

We go from Reality checks and balances to instant Virtual Reality where we question where things are really real and could they be happening to me ? All at a fantastic rate of spiraling change that the mind is unable to cope in lining up past references to present information. It gets stuck in a loop again reliving the experience as the mind is trying to find that perfect slot to file the information away.

Solution is create a space while at the same time setting up reference points for the mind to settle into the new reality of the experience. Even and desirably brief and temporary memory slots are good to help reduce and eliminate the ‘bad experience’.

3. Schizophrenia

@ 25:10 minutes – This is the classic example of this mental health issue in not only western but increasingly eastern civilizations.

I quote – “It’s all in my head, and I cannot take a vacation from my head… ”

That is the why we need physical vacations to disconnect and wind down the mind. I realize that 2 weeks vacation per year is better than none. But with increased stressful conditions, unfortunately that is not enough anymore. Hence we rely on medications and drugs to disconnect us from the pain of reality. Businesses pay the price through inefficiencies, mistakes, accidents, under-performance and even catastrophic business loss and bankruptcies. Competitive advantages are loss.

The statement above says it all. The emphasis is on the physical head when really the problem lies with the mind not being able to get periodic or habitual rest. In this case the mind and physical brain is constantly SWTICHED ON and the head seems like it’s full and going to explode. Result – Schizophrenia coupled with aggressive violent behavior when we are attempting to short circuit the process in trying to stop our heads from exploding and going crazy. The PATHOS of least resistance is using the weakest functional circuit to safeguard the integrity of the body which is not ready to die.

Good starting point – trying to synchronize visual & auditory senses and having the mind process it in a sensible way. The re-inforcer and confirmation of the synchronization between them becomes the request to physically input the response on a keyboard into the computer as the exercise progesses. All immediate feedback and mind pattern changers. Good exercise on integration. The individuals capacity and resistance factors are the Ki switches to concentrate on. Think of it as re-wiring the electrical circuit using electricity. Ohms, Watts, Volts, Amperes. Capacitors and Resistors.

Suffice to say this – If you get the right frequencies between sounds and sight in Schizophrenic people then you can reprogram the mind and physical brain in a much easier way. You could use NRGY principles, however without a long winded discussion for the time being, I’ll let the experts in their respective fields fiddle around with the parameters until they get it.

Basically in a nutshell, you are taking chaotic neuron signals that are all over the map and focusing them using the principles of electrical currents and thereby creating a new circuit for NRGY and the mind to follow. The trick is knowing where to start the reprogramming and for that you need Baseline References.

We’ve come a long way from the Helen Keller era. I’m willing to bet that between this information and those for the blind and mute, more profound advances can be made.

Finally for the moment, I’ll ask those reading this to step out of their comfort zones and into a new box if just for a moment only.

Food is the basic component that has a major impact on the body and physical brain. Better dietary choices if not radical but gradual are a good way to re-inforce change through subtle measures without causing extra undue stress on the persons experiencing mental health issues.

Failing that option, the second best way is this and within everyone’s realm. Reduction on most if not all electrical appliances processing food. My first choice – throw out the microwave oven as it creates chaos within the physical brain’s connections and resulting mind. Second is all whirly things such as blenders, coffee grinders, juicers, etc… All these appliances do is create confusion and foggy minds, unable to focus.

My favorite pet peeve – the electrical stove. It’s alternating current of ON/OFF creates stop and go circuits in the mind. Sort of like flip flopping on issues if you will. Changing to a gas fired stove is the best, but I realize that under these conditions almost impossible. The caution here if you do is to go slow. The use of Fire to cook food will make in the short term any condition flare up and cause it to become more pronounced. It’s the eventual goal, not the starting one.

Last but not least – refrigeration. Bad is the only way to describe it. Unfortunately losing my time and NRGY explaining the ‘WHY’ behind it is a fruitless exercise in frustration.
