The funny thing as I sit having supper in a local restaurant, I’m getting connections made during my last couple of days in a mandatory course by Alberta Works on Resume Building. Good course, great facilitator and most of all lite. When all is said and done, I think my JACK SPARROW out of the box update send via hotmail was a hit. At least my Mobilicity smartphone got it – firmware fucked and down for the count after I cancelled my account and went on a cheaper plan which I can only guess is their way of revenge of the cellphone provider and powers that be to stick it to you.

Looks like no warranty, paid 3 months service ahead of time -CASH mind you because suddenly their debit machine biltzed out. No can do on instant refund, got to call 611 customer service – oops fucked phone, that doesn’t work, for a refund sent by mail that’ll take 3 weeks.

Told to go here, there and everywhere except had no choice to buy another phone. Truth is I saw it coming, so no surprises there. I’m getting pretty good at that process now that it’s starting to gear up.

For instance, yesterday called up company I worked for last week – great requested 3 guys for tomorrow and I’ll ask to put you on the list of people we need. Oops again, next morning – no can do! Super told me he got a call last night – no more people from that company I’m working for – not dealing with them anymore. I asked if I should be using another temp company to go through to get work since I liked working there. Nope, no more temp agencies. Okay, bye.

Funny thing is, not surprised again. About 5 minutes before walking into temp agency this morning, I knew this was going to happen. Shucks, it’s the start of a beautiful love affair. Me, subconscious and mind tricks. Can’t wait till I get the news without having to read and wade through it anymore. Call it plugged into a direct connection. Now how am I going to fill empty space – gosh…. I’ll have to think up more trouble.
