Google Declares War on the Password

Well that took how long to figure out. I would say with all the news for the last what – decade at least of people using common names like password as the password. Or 123456789 or God would have said it all much earlier.

Okay, so everyone’s been looking for the Holy Grail of how to make it work for people and businesses. Truth is, until we are all telepathic and can control our minds by sheer thought alone, we’ll need something physical to manage passwords.

Speech recognition only works so far. Imagine someone who has a cold and has trouble talking. AI and computers have a long way to go before making adjustments for that. Funny thing now, just realized that little or few people in Star Trek episodes every caught the flu. Hmmm, must be an earth thing. Guess in space bugs don’t survive – just monsters and aliens.

So with that said, here’s another challenge for Google and everyone else in their quests for eternal Life. Sooner rather than later will be better in the damn password department. Like Motorola cellphones the size of bricks to cellphones, smartphones – all future TOGGLE PASSWORD KEYS will morph, shapeshift and be riddled with problems to overcome until just the right iPHONE, iPAD, ANDROID, WINDOWS PHONE comes along and hits the sweet spots.

Once you get it right, it’ll be a hit. Nothing more frustrating than forgetting your password and changing it regularly. Unless of course it’s part of the SOCIAL ENGINEERING scheme to drive people mad and insane. Right ???

I’m willing to bet that ENCRYPTED PASSWORD TOGGLES will be the next BIG THING with all sort of creative uses. Imagine using it to open door locks, cars, vaults, computers, iPADS, smartphones, turn on electrical devices for safeguard purposes.

Right now the ROI model for passwords is as follows –

Cost for companies is negative return in terms of TIME + tons of $$$ INVESTMENT + PEOPLE

Sure you can make a business model out of charging outside companies for your expertise in fixing password generated problems. Bottom line is that those companies are in truth looking for a way out and other solutions to the sheer madness of LOST PRODUCTIVITY and Competitive Marketplace pressures. They won’t be forever clients, that I’m willing to bet. You will have a shrinking locked in segment that is going to disappear over time. It’s plain logic and common sense -all businesses want to make money, not throw it out the window.

PASSWORD KEY TOGGLES will generate untold creative possibilities and relieve pressures of stress for both companies and people.
