Let’s not kid ourselves here, this a global problem. People selling themselves to make ends meet because they don’t have and are not in demand because of a multitude of reasons.
Don’t just single out India here, I could give you more examples but that’s not my job, it’s the media’s. Root it out, shame it publicly and let’s have a discussion. Otherwise it’ll get swept under the table and we’ll again be left spinning our wheels and getting nowhere.
I’ve even seen it here where I live, so again Canada is not immune. Whether it’s morally right or wrong, I’ll say this.
Governments everywhere know that this is going on. It’s just not discussed and on the table. We would rather abduct good children from defenceless parents under the guise of institutions like Children’s Aid Society corrupt nature than deal with SEX TRADE WORKERS and PROSTITUTES.
If they were truly serious about stamping out the sex trade they would be creating more work for individuals who fall into these traps and nightmares.
SEX has and will always be on the menu ! Put it on the table and deal with it and make it legal. Just like what we consider illegal drugs, this problem ain’t going away.
