Ontario’s Power Trip: McGuinty’s legacy

Too bad, this is just not a McGuinty of late problem but it with 99 percent certainty cemented it and cast it in stone.

Being raised initially in Quebec and watching over my youth on the strategy of Hydro Electric generation and the insistence by Ontario to go other routes, notably Nuclear then, I can without hesitation say that Ontario is now fucked.

If I could I would apologize for the candid disclosure on the sorry state of Ontario with respect to all things NRGY.

While I can appreciate attempts to go the GREEN route, whether Ontario or the United States or for that matter globally seems like everyone had their idea of coming up with the latest and greatest way of doing that, but failed to realize one important thing about it.

What if ! Sounds simple enough. What if what ??? What if climate change isn’t just about climate change. What if there is something else connected to it and the picture is bigger than our imaginations. The canvas so big, we haven’t got a clue how to piece it together.

Often times, those in power because of arrogance, demands and time constraints have to rely on outside help. Naturally they fall under many categories, but for the most part they always have the same message in their reports and advice. Those that are ‘aligned’ with similar and parallel views of the day are voted into positions of trust and end up being the drivers of change – whether they are right or not.

It’s no wonder that governments are all over the maps – whether Googled or CNNed or Reuters or any other NEWS organization, the views and opinions expressed become to confusing, hence the Spin Cycle machines kick into gear to polarize and displace public opinion. That leaves governments fabricating their own versions of what is to happen next using so called made up POLS, EXIT POLLS, SURVEYS and DAMN LIES. That’s where external consultants come in and really screw things up even more.

So for the time being and perspective, flee with your lives from Ontario. NRGY costs will only keep making things worst and worst to do business and live there. If ever there was any common sense left in Ontario, I would get a grip on how to handle that one small but hugely important detail before if suffers humiliation by Quebec while they shake their heads in French and point to a painted picture and map of Upper/Lower Canada.

How does it feel to have the status quo turned around, Upper Canada ??? Stupide !

While I’ll be studying at the University of Ottawa in Law, it’ll be no pleasure of mine to be living there. Ottawa and Ontario in my humble opinion – I now consider 3rd world status and getting worst. Toronto and Southern Ontario – you’re in for the Rides of your Life. Cash out and move to Alberta or anywhere else that has saner NRGY policies. Your lives depend on it. Especially the one dealing with QUALITY STANDARDS.
