That’s was and still is the whole point. Spending Tons of Money chasing ghosts. The Sky’s the limit as far as I’m concerned. Pi in the Sky, security costs. Welcome to a brave new world – bankrupt governments. 🙂
That leaves you relying on less less than shall we say – scum to do the job. That would include but not be limited to rats, snoops, snitches, less than but have no choice vulnerable sectors such as criminals, people on probation, at risk offenders, people that have been jailed and are under supervision orders, etc… Oh I shouldn’t forget too – corrupt lawyers such as the ones that I’ve had the pleasure of encountering. Don’t forget now, I always always always return favors. Oh yeah, let’s not forget about deputized mongooses such as Steve Hanson from OCH in Ottawa. What a pitiful character. That just leaves us with the other shady types – you know them as people who spend their time in Dungeons or thereabouts. That covers just about the whole spectrum of the rainbow. Well I’m positive there’s gay men in there somewhere too. Damn the list is getting too long.
Not exactly quality material – less than reliable and certainly you get what you pay for. Security holes, patches and more software upgrades than you can keep up with to replace defective broken down parts.
Our poor allies, what’ll they think about how we do business in the security business. Sign of the times I suppose. Not exactly a great track record going after the real bad guys and terrorists.
C’est La Danse de la Vie. Now, out of curosity, exactly how much has this little exercise in trying to do me in cost ? And see you are no further ahead. Seems to me I would replace and sack all the consultants, idiots, morons and those with Ph. D.s that couldn’t get it right before it comes down to the buck stops here > arrow pointing at you and left holding the bag of arrows.
And if the saying that cost isn’t an issue – then fire away till your blue in the face. I can’t wait to see the final bill down the road and IMF stepping in to unbankrupt Canada. 🙂
