Despite Superior Court opinions, I support the OPP’s way of doing things. As long as it’s peaceful demonstrations to voice expressions of Rights & Freedoms, then peaceful counter-measures are approiate.
OPP is right that no injured or lost Life is better. It is a reasonable course of action and logical way to proceed regardless of laws notwithstanding.
Even man made laws can and are flawed and far from perfect just like every human being that crafts them. At worst they become obsolete when used inappropriately once they have past their best before expiry dates. That is why we keep on making even more laws to patch the old ones.
The best laws cannot replace superior moral/ethical decisions based on compassion, reason and the ties that bind all humans – Constitutional Rights & Freedoms meant for all, regardless of differences, We’re all on the same boat standing side by side. Otherwise the choice becomes clear, Everyone sinks with the Titanic with no advance warning – if we can’t learn from all of history then what point is there to continue like this ???
