Back in the late ’90’s there was talk about putting V Chips into TVs. All about Program Ratings I believe.

Haven’t spent time researching where it went from there, but I believe it never made it through whatever approval process at the time.

However, I WOULD NOT BE SURPRISED in the least bit if they were still put into the circuit boards and/or integrated circuits of TVs. Just in case.

My intuition is saying those chips are there and they have been put to use in more than their intended purposes.

I would look into it ! Something just isn’t right about the whole Internet connected world and privacy.
