CNN – Newtown opens eyes to other gun violence against young people

“JUSTICE – Why Philly will never be Newtown

A young black man in Philadelphia has a greater chance of being shot and killed than an American soldier in combat. So why does it take school shootings like Newtown for America to start discussing gun violence?”

What’s that phrase that Captain Jack Sparrow used in Pirates of the Carribean ?

One soul being equal to another and negotiating a fair trade in principle based on quantity !

Seems to me that it’s old hat and not worth the trouble in the NEWS any longer to report an ‘ADULT’ death. After it, it doesn’t sell papers like it used to.

Ah, but wait now – the idea of killing young innocent defenseless children in a school, now that’s ‘NEWS’ and sells. Not media’s fault here, they’re tapping into social psychic demand – sort of reverse social engineering if you will. People want, NEWS delivers after the fact.

But hey back to the conversation – yep death is cheap in America and soon we’ll need gladiators and coliseums to put on a better show to sell the audience. Cause at this rate, killing young innocent children in schools will become ‘OLD NEWS’. Give it time with all the assault weapons on the street.
